Michael E. Catania, Esq., (Michael) is one of the firm’s Partners as well as the head of MCW’s Construction Practice Group. Since joining the firm Michael has concentrated his practice in the areas of Construction Law, Commercial litigation, and Professional Malpractice Defense.
As a construction and commercial lawyer in the Hudson Valley, Michael represents project owners, design professionals, contractors and suppliers involved in the Tri-State construction industry.
He guides his clients from initial contract formation through project completion and, if necessary, arbitration or litigation, including claims for breach of contract, mechanic lien foreclosures and trust fund violations. He further assists companies secure their MBE, WBE, and DBE certifications.
In addition, Michael serves as outside General Counsel to a number of small to medium sized companies, providing them with a broad range of legal services including employment law, compliance, DOL audits, contract negotiation, and commercial collections.
