She has experience preparing wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, and other estate planning documents. Erin has also represented executors, administrators, trustees, and beneficiaries in probate matters, including the preparation of petitions, motions, objections, distribution agreements, fiduciary accountings, financial reports, and related tax filings.

Erin’s transactional experience includes residential and commercial real estate and a broad range of business matters. She has prepared purchase and sale agreements, deeds, commercial and residential leases, lease-extension agreements, mortgage-modification agreements, employment contracts, operating and partnership agreements, and organizational documents for tax-exempt entities. In one particularly privacy-sensitive matter, Erin represented a client in connection with a $10 million lottery prize, forming a limited liability company and structuring the claim to preserve the client’s identity and privacy.

In addition to her transactional practice, Erin has handled the defense of personal injury and property damage claims from inception through resolution. Her litigation experience includes dispositive and discovery motions, oral arguments, evidentiary hearings, arbitration proceedings, depositions, settlement and discovery conferences, and petitions involving infant compromises and wrongful-death matters.

Erin earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. While in law school, she served as a student attorney in Villanova’s Interdisciplinary Mental and Physical Health Law Clinic, where she represented clients in matters involving Social Security and disability benefits. She also competed in the North Grounds Softball League Invitational at the University of Virginia School of Law. Erin completed legal internships with the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office and the SUNY Office of General Counsel. She earned her B.A. in English Language and Literature from Siena College and an associate degree in Adolescent English Education from Dutchess Community College.

Erin is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut. She resides in LaGrangeville, NY. Erin is a member of the Dutchess County Bar Association and is a third generation lawyer in Dutchess County.
