Ellen brings over 40 years of legal experience in estate planning, estate & trust administration, and elder law. Her estate planning practice focuses on developing plans for individuals and the preparation of all estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, supplemental needs trusts, life insurance trusts, generation skipping trusts, charitable trusts, and creation of estate and gift tax plans. Ellen also assists business owners in planning for the transfer of the business to a younger generation.
Ellen’s estate & trust administration experience focuses on assisting executors, trustees and administrators with all aspects of the administration of estates and trusts, including probate of wills, marshaling of assets, preparation of estate tax returns, sale and distribution of assets, preparation and filing of accounting and discharge of fiduciaries. For her elder law clients, Ellen develops plans for possible incapacity or nursing home care—including powers of attorney, health care proxies, living wills and Medicaid trusts.
Ellen graduated magna cum laude from Union College and then graduated cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University. She splits her time between Queensbury, New York and the Hudson Valley.
